Flirt Scarf is a fun little scarf to crochet from the bottom up with a little ruffle at the edge. Uses 280 yards of worsted weight yarn and size I crochet hook. Very easy to make with sc, hdc, and dc. Easy to make larger by working more repeats. You could make this with any weight of yarn but change the hook size to one compatible with the yarn you are using. No blocking required or you will use the texture of this piece. Pattern is written and charted. Size 36” neckline x 14” deep at center. Pattern is now available in my Ravelry pattern store.
Hedleys are cute little animal head pins that are embarrassingly cute! (They are Woof, Sheepish, and Rabbitry from left to right.) I created the one on the left as a party favor for my knitting group’s retreat this summer. They told me they looked more like dogs than sheep so back to the drawing board to come up with a sheep and a rabbit. These are fast to crochet with scraps of dishcloth cotton. Decorate with embroidery floss eyes and muzzle and trim with tiny buttons, bows, sequins, beads, or whatever you have on hand. Add a pin back or safety pin to the back for wearing or use them as appliques or gift trims.
The three page pattern has written instructions and charts for each Hedley. You can find this pattern in my Ravelry patterns store. All money from pattern sales will be donated to Pet Refuge.
