Aldo Hat & Scarf for guys - a knit pattern

Aldo Scarf is a scarf designed with a guy in mind. Worked in easy knit and purl stitches, the stitch pattern looks the same on both sides. The scarf is cast on and knit sideways in long rows. You’ll need a size 7 (4.5 mm) 29-36” circular knitting needle to handle all the stitches and 250 yards of worsted weight yarn. 50” x 5.5” (unblocked). Scarf is crumpled after knitting it. 62” x 5.5” after washing and laid out flat to dry. The 3 page pattern includes written instructions and stitch charts.

Aldo Hat Here’s a fun, textured hat to knit for a guy. The hat is knit top down with a circular needle. No double points needed! Begin by knitting a square and pick up stitches around it and knit the sides in the round . Bind off with a twisty, stretchy bind off. You’ll need 120 yards of worsted weight yarn and size 7 (4.5 mm) 16” circular knitting needle for a hat that measures 20” around x 9” deep (unstretched). For a larger hat, use size 8 needles and Aran/heavy worsted weight yarn. The 3 page pattern includes written instructions and charts for the side stitches.
