I used 2 skeins of a two-color, light worsted weight boucle I picked up for $1 a skein from Big Lots. It's Premier Yarns Babe (83% acrylic/15% Polyamide/2% polyester) with 82 yards per skein. The yarn label calls this a bulky weight yarn but it isn't.
Crocheted Twirly Q Scarf
Finished size: 3" wide x 54" long
Light worsted weight - 164 yards/100 gms
Crochet hook size H (5.0 mm)
Chain 100. Don't make the chain too tight or you won't be able to get your hook into it. :-)
Dc in 3rd chain from hook, then work 2 dc in each chain to the end, turn, chain 3.
1. Dc in top of last st, work 2 dc in each st across, turn, chain 3. Work this row 3 times (about 800 stitches)
2. Work 1 hdc in each stitch across. (I only had enough yarn left to do this.)
Fasten off. Weave in end. Done!
This is easy enough to make smaller or larger just by varying the number of chains you start with. Change the yarn to a lighter weight and use a smaller hook or go heavier for a bolder look with a larger hook. Do as many rows as you have yarn for. Play with it and have fun!

I like this scarf, especially since it is so easily adaptable. I will have to make a couple, especially for each of my girls! Thanks for the great pattern yet again!!
